Looking at social media ads, I noticed that ads with bad hooks and headlines came and went.

 

I would see them once or twice, but never again.

 

That meant they failed, so the advertisers stopped putting adspend behind them.

But Ads With GREAT Hooks And Headlines?

I saw them repeatedly.

 

Which meant they were WINNING on hundreds of thousands in adspend.

 

Moreover, the best ads all shared hooks and headlines that hit on similar psychological “buying triggers” which we’ll get to in a moment.

 

More:

 

Oddly enough, we also found that ads with very pretty, high-produced images and video did NOT have great staying power.

More often than not, videos shot with an iPhone and images made with Canva beat out high-production shots.

So I took the things I noticed and compiled them into a kind of “cheat sheet” that I would refer to in my own personal use.

 

When I was using this “cheat sheet” I could knock out literally DOZENS of ad variations in as little as an hour.

 

And furthermore…

 

They usually ended up wining!
